As much as I despise national borders for restricting people’s freedom to move and live where they choose, I can’t help but find them oddly fascinating. There’s something captivating about the contradictions they represent – artificial lines that carry so much power, yet often make so little sense geographically or culturally.
I’m especially intrigued by exclaves, pene-exclaves, and other geographic oddities – those strange little quirks of cartography that defy logic and stir curiosity. There’s a story behind every one of them, and I hope to explore as many as I can in my lifetime.
