Travel is a great privilege, one that most people on this planet don’t have. For those of us lucky enough to be able to explore the world, it’s important that we do so in an ethical and responsible way that minimizes our impact on the earth, respects local communities and avoids any type of harmful interaction with animals.
I’ve made my share of mistakes over the years, but I try my hardest to learn and better myself. It’s our responsibility as travellers to educate ourselves on the countries and communities we visit and the negative impact that our presence there could have, and to do everything in our power to avoid that.
