Northtrotter is a travel and photo journal, showcasing the world through the eyes of a 27-year-old Danish/English backpacker. What started as a diary for my family and friends in 2015 has since turned into a full-time hobby with occasional jobs and campaigns.

I’m a budget backpacker with focus on outdoor adventures in the north, history and archaeology and a vegan and sustainable lifestyle. The companies that I work with are carefully chosen to fit with my ethics and lifestyle. You won’t find me in an expensive five-star hotel or eating a steak at some high-end restaurant, but you will find me camping by the ocean, horseback riding, cycling or hiking in beautiful nature and enjoying local vegan dishes.

Promoting tourism in Kystlandet, Denmark | May-July 2020

In the summer of 2020, I became an ambassador for Turistsamarbejdet Kystlandet and worked on a campaign to promote tourism in the municipalities of Odder (where I grew up), Horsens and Hedensted. The campaign involved four trips in the region from which I created an instagram story, two instagram posts and one blog post per trip, as well as capturing and editing photos for marketing purposes.
