Whenever I travel to a new country, I always make sure to check the UNESCO World Heritage Site list to see which amazing places that specific country has on the list. I don't often make it to all of them, but I try to make it to as many as possible. The UNESCO World Heritage Sites are places designated by the United Nations for their outstanding cultural and/or natural heritage and their importance to the collective interests of humanity. As of September 2023, there are 1199 sites in total and I've visited a total of 141 sites in 52 countries and territories.
