I’ve never fallen as quickly in love with a city as I did with Taipei. I loved it instantly, as soon as the plane landed. And despite having five days in Taiwan and big plans of mountain explorations, I decided to spend all of that time in Taipei. It’s one of the only cities in the world where I actually wanted to spend my time and not wander off to other places. There’s just a certain atmosphere in that city that I find really amazing.
Of course, I still want to explore Taiwan further, but I’m almost desperate to get back to Taipei. I can’t wait for the day where I’m finally back in this beautiful country (and yes, I recognize Taiwan as a sovereign country).
