During a vacation in the north of Spain with my family in the summer of 2015, we chose to drive to the tiny country of Andorra for a day to celebrate my parents’ silver wedding. It was my suggestion as I’d always dreamed of visiting the tiny Pyrenee nation.
Andorra is a small country so we covered a lot of ground in that one day, exploring the capital, visiting quaint churches in the countryside and going on a small hike to a beautiful lake.
Just as I had expected, I was stunned by Andorra’s breathtaking nature, but one day was only enough to scratch the surface of this microstate.
